when i was a kid i always had a bad concience all the time.
i believed i would not survive armageddon for the fact that i didn't like going to service and i didnt like going to the meetings.
I must add that when most of the family is JW and there are very little influences of contradiction, then it makes it for life to seem quite normal.
Not until 1995 with the 'generation' change did I begin my disgruntled movement, then finding out about the UN affiliation and lately the pedophilia cover up. Now is when I find myself very sad and mad to be trapped in this Org.

so it's been a few months since i last went to a meeting but i've still had lots of guilty feelings about leaving, such as am i doing the right thing, thinking about friends and family, where do i go from here etc etc.
but i think once you stop believing you can't go back.. anyway, today i had a very nice experience.
my daughter had been to nursery today and when she got home i asked her what she had done and she excitedly told me they had been doing pumpkins.

we had another letter read this week from the 'slave' that asked for more money again.. it asked for a resolution to be passed by all congregations in support of the circuit overseer to pay their expenses and medical expense was included in there.. a resolution was put on the floor and voted upon and agreed by show of hands that our congregation would send over $2,000 for the year 2016.. the society broke it down to how much it would be per year for each publisher but i do not remember what they suggested.. i was glad i was listening in and not present this week because it would have been obvious i did not support the resolution because my hand would not have been up when the attendance took a count.. has anyone here also had the letter read at their service meeting this week?.
I am not donating/contributing for anything else anymore!!!
Let the COs work a part-time job and cover their own crap!!!

My childhood really good and normal. Lots of play time with siblings, cousins and neighborhood kids.
Cannot recall a single birthday or holiday celebration, but recall other parties just the same. The big talk of 'JW kids are not happy' is just crazy talk.
Just the other day we all got together at this park, bouncy house, pool, games, such good food and music! The kiddos along with all there had a great time. Parties like that are common in the Spanish congs of this FL area.

I know of an elder, back in the late 80s that participated in a disfellowshipping committee while in engaging himself in the worst adultery plot ever!
The baldy man had the odasity to even purchase the bathing suit with which his 'side honey' got baptized!!! THE GALL!!!
Later on, his doings were discovered, got disfellowshipped for many years. Fast forward, now he is back being an elder for many years now. Now the Society uses him for special privileges abroad.

in short:- tight pants is no longer just a am3 hang up (or is that a hang up on the well hung?
)- brothers who have effeminate body language are flagged up- as are sisters with 'masculine' hair styles or dress- such dress is 'disturbing to the congregation'- the above must heed the (repeated) counsel from the elders...or they get stripped of the right to share on the ministry- however...this will not be revealed (announced) to the congregation.

The LGBT people have no place whatsoever inside the JWs. People that show any weird behavior are flagged, made fun of and excluded as much as possible.
None survive in the long run. All the ones I have known of eventually leave. Specially in the Hispanic congs; the vast majority of Hispanics want no part of the LGBT behavior.
